K7 Qualifiers, Haryana, a Junior Kabaddi tournament took place at Khokhar Kabaddi Academy in Sonipat from 1st March to 4th March 2021. This tournament saw 16 best Kabaddi academies from Haryana in action. K7 Qualifiers was the qualification tournament for the K7 Stage Up which is set to happen in July 2021. The top 10 teams from the qualifiers made it to the Stage Up tournament. 192 young players were seen in action in the tournament where we got to witness some high-intensity Kabaddi action.

1. Parteek Dahiya: DNH Foundation- 55 Raid Points
Parteek Dahiya, a young right raider from Rohtak Haryana represented the Deepak Niwas Hooda Foundation in the K7 Qualifiers, Haryana. Parteek managed to score 55 raid points in just 3 games in the tournament. He was on song from the word go and played an important role in DNH Foundation's unbeaten triumph in the K7 Qualifiers.
Parteek Bagan is K7 journey for DNH Foundation against Chhaju Ram Kabaddi academy. In that game, he was unstoppable as he had only 1 unsuccessful raid in the whole match. Parteek finished the game with 22 raid points in 24 raids to help DNH Foundation beat Chhaju Ram Kabaddi Academy with scores reading 53-28.
In the next encounter, DNH Foundation went up against Kathura Stadium in the 2nd match of the tournament. Parteek again was on song from the word go. Kathura defense did not have an answer for Parteek as he scored 20 raid points in 24 raids to make it two back-to-back games with 20 raid points or more. Kathura Stadium was blown away by DNH foundation with scores of 67-23.
The last and final encounter had DNH Foundation vs Deenbandhu Kabaddi Academy. Parteek once again stole everyone's attention with his raiding skills. He finished the game as the best raider with 13 raid points to his name to help DHN Foundation go unbeaten in the K7 Qualifiers, Haryana. Deenbandhu Kabaddi Academy showed some fight, but Parteek and DNH Foundation made sure the game did not go out of their hands. DNH Foundation beat Deenbandhu Kabaddi Academy with scores of 36-24 to win 3 out 3 games in the tournament.
2. Ashu: AAA Kabaddi Academy- 52 Raid Points
Ashu, fondly known as Balliwalla by his mates because of the earring he wears from his childhood. He is an athletic Right Raider who keeps defenders at their toes with this raiding skill. Ashu was seen in action for the Amit and Ashok Kabaddi academy in the K7 Qualifiers, Haryana. He scored a total of 52 raid points in 3 games for his team. He was the lone warrior for the AAA Kabaddi academy in all 3 games. Ashu is one of the key reasons why AAA Kabaddi Academy won hearts and made it to the K7 Stage Up as the Wild Card entry team.
Ashu's K7 Qualifier Journey began with AAA Kabaddi Academy facing off against BBD Kabaddi Academy. He was at his very best from the 1st game itself as he scored 20 raid points in the game to keep BBD Kabaddi Academy at bay. Ashu had only 3 unsuccessful raids in the whole game which made sure AAA academy won the game comfortably with scores of 54-28.
AAA went head-on against the home team Khokhar Kabaddi Academy in the 2nd match of the tournament. Ashu was once again at his very best but this time he could not take the team over the line because of the lack of support from his mates. He finished the game with 13 raid points but AAA Kabaddi Academy went down crashing to Khokhar Kabaddi Academy with scores reading 41-32.
In the final game of the tournament for AAA Kabaddi Academy, they went up against Narwal Golden Club. This game saw one of the best comebacks ever in Kabaddi. Ashu was on the song through the 40 minutes of the match. Ashu scored a total of 19 raid points in the match to help AAA Kabaddi Academy produce a surreal comeback in the game to beat NGC. AAA Kabaddi academy was trailing by more than 15 points in the last 5 minutes of the match. Ashu and the defense ensured AAA Kabaddi Academy beat NGC with scores of 40-37.
3. Mohit Goyat: Bhaini School- 49 Raid Points
Mohit Goyat, a young raider from the Bhiwani district of Haryana- the same village and academy where star raider Naveen Kumar is from. Mohit is a right raider who was seen in action for Bhaini School Kabaddi Academy in the K7 Qualifiers. He was also the lead raider for Haryana in the 47th Junior National Kabaddi Championship. Mohit finished the K7 Qualifiers with 49 raid points to his name to help Bhaini School win 3 out of 3 games.
In the first game, Mohit Goyat's Bhaini School went up against Ch. Ram Swaroop Kabaddi Academy. Mohit was in great form from the start of the game. He finished the game with 15 raid points to his name. This game turned out to be one of the closest games in the tournament, Bhaini School just got better of Ch. Ram Swaroop Kabaddi Academy with scores of 36-35.
In the 2nd game, Bhaini School went head to head against Narwal Kabaddi and Sports Academy. Mohit Goyat produced one of the best performances in the tournament. He finished the game with a massive 24 points to his name. Mohit's 24 points did not allow Narwal Kabaddi and Sports Academy to come back in the game. Bhaini School went on the win the game with scores of 56-30.
In the 3rd and final game of K7 Qualifiers, Bhaini School was up against Parveen and Jasvir Kabaddi Academy. Mohit Goyat once again was on top of the game to finish as the best raider of the match. He scored 10 valuable points to help Bhaini School win a close game with a score difference of just 2 points. Bhaini School beat Parveen and Jasvir Kabaddi Academy with scores of 30-28.
4. Mandeep: BBD Kabaddi Academy- 31 Raid Points
Mandeep from BBD Kabaddi Academy is a young and exciting right raider from Gurugram, Haryana. He was seen in action during the K7 Qualifiers, Haryana when he turned up for the BBD Kabaddi Academy. Mandeep finished the tournament with 31 raid points in 3 games for his team. BBD Kabaddi did not make it to the K7 Stage Up but they for sure did win hearts with the performances they produced. Mandeep was one of the players who gave it all for BBD Kabaddi Academy in the tournament.
In the first game of the K7 Qualifiers, BBD Kabaddi Academy played against Amit and Ashok Kabaddi Academy. Mandeep had a game to remember as he scored 12 points in the game. But it was not enough as BBD Kabaddi Academy went down to AAA Kabaddi Academy with scores of 54-28.
In the 2nd game of the tournament, BBD Kabaddi Academy went head-on against Narwal Golden Club. Mandeep again produced an amazing performance for his team. He scored 12 points in 23 raids to finish as the best raider for BBD. But NGC went on to win the game with scores of 46-35.
In the final game of the tournament, BBD Kabaddi Academy played against Khokhar Kabaddi Academy. Mandeep had a decent game personally but his team went down crashing to Khokhar Kabaddi Academy. Mandeep ended the game with 9 raid points but it was not enough as Khokhar Kabaddi Academy won the game with scores of 59-33.
5. Surender Gadhwal: Chhaju Ram Kabaddi Academy- 30 Raid Points
Surender Gadhwal a young raider from the Bhiwani district of Haryana was seen in action for Chhaju Ram Kabaddi Academy in the K7 Qualifiers, Haryana. He is a right-left raider for his team, a type of raiding which is seen as a rarity in the sport. In the K7 Qualifiers, Surender was in great form, he scored 30 points in 3 games to help his team qualify to the K7 Stage Up.
In the first game of the tournament, Surender Gadhwal started his K7 Qualifiers with 8 points to his name against a very strong Deepak Niwas Hooda Foundation team. But this was not enough to beat the DNH Foundation as Chhaju Ram Kabaddi Academy went down crashing with scores of 53-28.
In the 2nd game, Chhaju Ram Kabaddi Academy was up against Deenbandhu Kabaddi Academy. Surender had a good game where helped Chhaju Ram Kabaddi Academy win their first game in the tournament. Surender scored 9 points out of 16 raids he attempted.
In the 3rd and final game, Surender played a crucial role to help Chhaju Ram Kabaddi Academy qualify for the K7 Stage Up. He scored 13 points in the 19 raids he went for. Chhaju Ram Kabaddi Academy comfortably won the all-important game with a score difference of 20 points. They beat Kathura Stadium with scores of 54-34 to make it to the next round of K7 Tournaments.
