Praveen and Jasvir Panipat Academy vs Bhaini School (match snippets)

Bhaini School has had a mixed bag of play till now at the SUPER 6 stage with a win and a loss in their last encounter against NK Academy, whereas Parveen and Jasvir Academy is coming off a thriller of an encounter against Amit Ashok Academy where they missed the mark narrowly. So both the teams were coming into the match to regain the winning momentum and make a strong case for themselves moving forward in finals week.

P&J Academy continued their attacking mindset from their last match and that was quite prevalent in the first half of the match as they forced an all-out against Bhaini School within the first five minutes of the match and gained a healthy lead with the scoreline reading 10-2 in their favor. P&J Academy was crisp with their defense as well as they built on the lead and maintained it through to the first half with the scoreline reading 19-9. The wrecker-in-chief for P&J Academy were two of the best raider duo of the tournament in form of Himanshu Virender and Narender Hoshiyar who were just too good for the defense of Bhaini School.

The story of the second half was just opposite as Bhaini School just marched back into the game by a combination of two match-turning moments, the first being Mohit Goyat eliminating Ashu Rohtas of the P&J Academy to reduce the deficit and then a gutsy solo tackle by Vikas almost wiped out the deficit for the scoreline to read 22-24 which gave Bhaini School the much-needed momentum and they never looked back as they just bossed the proceedings thereafter and that can be concluded by the scoreline which went from 24-24 to 33-25 in their favor. A strategy by Bhaini School after the first half to keep the duo of Narender and Himanshu out of the mat for the most part of the game paid dividends as P&J Academy just was not able to recover from that onslaught by Mohit Goyat.

Bhaini School as they have been tagged the comeback kings in this tournament lived up to that and made the most of the momentum to win the match by six points and the scoreline reads 35-29 in their favor. This win will give Bhaini School a world of confidence going forward in the tournament as the SUPER 6 stage is heating up. On the other hand, P&J Academy will have to make amends as soon as possible because they let both the games slip out of their hand in the final moments and that could prove costly going forward.

Mohit Goyat(13 points) was rightly named the best raider, best DOD raider, and the player of the match for his match-winning performance. Whereas, Jaideep(04 points) was awarded the best defender.
