Gujarat State Kabaddi Association has announced the schedule for the upcoming state championships. The Senior and Junior level selection tournament will be be held starting 26th February. The Junior State Championships kick off first at Vadodara with Girls and Boys event scheduled for two days. The Senior State Championship will be held in March at Bharuch.
Gujarat State Championships Schedule:
- 26th February 2021- Girls Junior State Championships at Gujarat Krida Mandal, Vadodara
- 27th February 2021- Boys Junior State Championships at Gujarat Krida Mandal, Vadodara
- 6th March 2021- Men Senior State Championships at Jayendrapuri Arts and Science College, Bharuch
- 7th March 2021- Women Senior State Championships at Jayendrapuri Arts and Science College, Bharuch
Gujarat Men at the 67th Senior National Championships made it to the Pre-Quarters after having a huge win against Jharkhand and a loss against Indian Railways who went to win the Tournament. They bowed out of the tournament in the Pre-Quarters after an loss to Bihar. Gujarat Women's had an Tournament to forget as they lost both their matches in the 67th Women's Senior Nationals Kabaddi Championships.
Gujarat Boys and Girls ended the 46th Junior Nationals Kabaddi Championships at Pre Quarters and League stages respectively.
Gujarat State Kabaddi Association will be keen to put out strong teams for their Junior and Senior Nationals which is set to take place in March and April respectively.
