Tamil Thalaivas were booming with confidence after they registered their first win in their home leg yesterday. But when Rishank Devadiga-led UP Yoddhas took charge against team Ajay Thakur, the Thalaivas struggled and succumbed against UP Yoddha's raiders and strong defense, with the final score of 37 - 32.

It was Prashath Kumar Rai the most expensive B category raider who started raiding from UP Yoddha side, he was well supported by Shrikant Jadhav and Rishank Devadiga. UP defence was brilliant as Nitesh got early successful tackles and kept Ajay Thakur out of the mat for the most of the time in the first half.

Tamil Thalaivas could score their first point in the 13th minute of the game courtesy a combination tackle initiated by Manjeet Chhillar. Athul MS was the smart substitution by Tamil Thalaivas in the second half, he brought 3 consecutive bonus points and scored total 7 points for the team today. Tamil Thalaivas made a come-back in the second half as the defense looked organized and Ajay Thakur's  12 raid points narrowed the defeat margin.
