Madhya Pradesh Sports group kicked off their first ever Kabaddi league in Indore which will be held yearly henceforth. The tournament is being held at Abhay Prashal stadium, from August 7 to 12. Teams that are participating in the league are Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Rewa, Sagar and Khandwa.
“The tournament has been organised to promote Kabaddi at the regional level. These kind of tournaments will encourage players from small towns of the state to come out and showcase their talent and it provides platform to become a national player,” said Tejender Singh who is one of the director of the event.
