Bangabandhu Cup International Kabaddi tournament is all set to begin from March 28 to 2nd April 2021 in the city of Dhaka with a participation of five nations. Apart from hosts Bangladesh, Poland, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Kenya will participate in the six-day event. This tournament will be conducted marking the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangaabandhu Sheikh Mujibar Rahman. This tournament will also mark the return of International Kabaddi after being hit by global Corona Virus pandemic.
A logo revealing cermony and question and answer session was held today at Bangladesh Olympic Association's Auditorium to provide everyone about the details of the tournament. The event was showered by the presence of Mohammad Zahid Ahsan who is the State Minister for Youth and Sports. The Minister was quoted telling the media that ''Kabaddi is a National Game of Bangladesh and everyone should it maximum importance to take Bangladesh Kabaddi forward''.
This five nation tournament is being held in Bangladesh after a gap of 10 years and this promises to be an exciting tournament for the global Kabaddi audience across the world.
