Kolkata pit-stop of last home-leg of Prokabaddi season 6, 4th Wild card match between Tamil Thalaivas and Haryana Steelers, both the teams playing their last game of PKL season 6 turned out to be an entertainer in the last minute. Ajay Thakur would like to forget this night, he started the raid and scored a point, Haryana Steelers scored their first point in defense in the 3rd minute and 1st touch point was scored by Naveen in the 5th minute.

It remained a tight game in the first half with lead switching side. Tamil Thalaivas like the season 5 two talents C Arun and Darshan have unearthed 3 talents this year, Ponparthibban, Victor Obiero and Anand. Anand playing his first game did the job right scored 6 raid points in the first half. In the Haryana Steelers attack Monu Goyat scored 5 points and in defense Parveen scored 4 points in the first half. Tamil Thalaivas were on fire in the last 2 minutes of first half, reduced Haryana Steelers to 1 player on the mat and walked into the half time with 2 points, 16-14.

Tamil Thalaivas inflicted the all-out to begin the second half and took 4 points lead. Haryana Steelers coming back from the all-out looked to be organised leveled the score in 23rd minute and inflicted the first all-out in the 28th minute and took 4 points lead 27-23. Tamil Thalaivas made a come-back, Ajay Thakurs 3 points super raid led to 2nd all-out of Haryana Steelers and game once again tilted to Thalaivas side, 32-28.

Haryana Steelers leveled the score in 37th minute, 36-36. In the 38th minute Monu Goyat was sent on the bench by Thalaivas defenders and Tamil Thalaivas took slender one point lead. In the 39th minute Tamil Thalaivas extended their lead to 3 points, 40-37. Last minute turned into an entertainer, Vikas scored a point and narrowed the gap to 2 points, Ajay Thakur came for a raid just need an empty raid to let Haryana Stellers have 2 points to get in the last raid, crossed the baulk line made the raid valid, went back near the mid-line, standing calm and composed, Sunil standing in the right corner noticed and pounced on him from the back. Ajay Thakur tackled sent on the bench. Vikas Kandola scored a point in the last raid of the game to end the last minute entertainer into a tie, 40-40. Both the teams are out of playoff race long back and will be at the bottom of the table in their respective zones.
