In the General Body Meeting of AKF held during the Asian Games 2018 Kabaddi event, JS Gehlot was elected the President of AKF for the term 2018-2022.

Mr. Janardan Singh Gehlot did not attend the meeting due to his ill health, still looking into his services for the game of kabaddi all countries elected him as President unanimously.
