A whopping 250 raid points!

On the first day of Pro Kabaddi Season 3, Telugu titans faced U Mumba at Visakhapatnam. U Mumba defeated the home team Telugu Titans by two points after a nail biting thriller. The captain of Telugu titans even though with a bitter taste of defeat had something to cherish for the match. He became the first raider in Pro Kabaddi history to score 250 raid points.

He played 29 matches across three seasons to achieve this feat. Even Anup Kumar is at only 240 points although he has played more matches than Rahul. He has justified his selection and is leading the team from the front also fulfilling his role as the captain. The glory of being there at the top even gave him the boost in confidence needed in Season 3 which was shown in the second match of Telugu Titans where they defeated Puneri Paltans by one point courtesy of Rahul Chaudhary.

Super 10 a record 13 times!!

He also has 20 tackle points which shows he also contributes well in that department. With 216 successful raids from 478, he also has the highest raid conversion rate. He has also scored 10 points in a match a record 13 times (which is called a super 10). He was the star raider for Telugu Titans in both Season 1 and 2 of Pro Kabaddi. He also takes the responsibility to raid when it is a do or die raid, giving the other raiders more opportunities to score. When it is his day no one can stop this point scoring machine. That is the effect he has on the opposition defense.
All it remains to be seen is whether he can continue this form and cause a rampage and will the Telugu Titans on the shoulders of this poster boy be the champions of Season 3 Star sports Pro Kabaddi.
